An object goes from point X to Y and then come back from Y to X . what is the displacement and average velocity?​

displacement = 0

avg velocity = 0

Reason-

Dipslacement is the shortest distance between the starting and the ending point.

Now, in the question, the starting and the ending point is the same one, so the displacement will be zero.

We can write that, the ratio of displacement to time gives us the average velocity. So in this case, the average velocity will be zero as displacement is zero.
