An object has a constant momentum of 2.45x10^2 kg m/s. Determine the momentum of the object if its mass decreases to 1/3 of its original value?

We can write mv=2.45 => m = 2.45/v
The final momentum is m/3 * 4v = 2.45/3v * 4v = (4/3)*2.45
= 49/15 kg m/s = 3.26666666 kg m/s
