Given :

mass (m) = 34 kg

Kinetic energy (KE) = 25 J

To Find :

The velocity of the object

Solution :

Kinetic energy of the object = \frac{1}{2}  mv^{2} (where v = velocity)

or,                              25         = \frac{1}{2} * 34 * v^{2}

or,                               v^{2}         = 1.47

or,                               v          =  \sqrt{1.47}

∴                                 v          =   1.21 m/sec

∴ The velocity of the object is 1.21 m/sec.

Given:

Kinetic energy of object = 25 J

Mass of object = 34 kg

To Find: Speed of the object

Calculation:

The formula for kinetic energy of object is given by

K.E = \frac{1}{2} *m*v^{2} \\25=  \frac{1}{2} *34*v^{2}\\v^{2} = \frac{25}{17} \\v^{2} =1.47\\v = 1.21 m/s

Answer:

The velocity of object is 1.212 m/s.
