Yes, an object can have zero displacement even when it has moved through a distance. This happens when final position of an object coincides with its initial position. for example if a person moves around park and stands on place where he started then here displacement Will be zero

Hello Mate!

Yes, an ibject covering a distance can have a zero displacement because if any object starts from point A and ends his/her journey at A then displacement is zero.

For Example :-

Lets take the radius of curcular path be 7 cm,

The man started walking throgh point A and after a roung he came back to A. Find distance and displacment

Distance or circumference = 2 × 22/7 × 7
= 44 cm

but displacement is 0.

Hope it helps☺!✌
