Yes, when a object move from a distance it may have zero displacement ,it happens when the object move at some distance and again it came back to its initial position...

EXAmple:-

suppose a racer runs to a circular path and after completing 1 round it covers some distance but as we know displacement = distance covered in initial to final position so, the displacement covered by the racer will be zero...
