Yes an object has a displacement whether it has moved some distance

For example :-

you have left your house and went to school and after the end of school hour you came back to your house hair you have covered same distance but displacement is zero as your initial position is same as the final position

Yes, an object can have zero displacement even when it has moved through a distance.This happens when final position of the object coincides with its initial position. For example,if a person moves around park and stands on place from where he started then here displacement will be zero. /||\
