displacement refers to the distance between the original point and the final point, regardless of the actual distance covered. therefore if an object travels along a circular path and ends up at its original place then it has traveled some distance but its displacement is zero

yes it is possible.
if the object was moving in a circular path and the object completes one rotation, displacement is considered to be zero .
