An object having height of 5 cm is placed at 30 cm in
front of concave lens having focal length of 20 cm. Find
the position, nature and size of an image.​

Now, from mirror formula :  

\frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{f} - \frac{1}{u}

= \frac{-1}{20} + \frac{1}{30}

= \frac{-1}{60}

v =-60 cm _- image distance

Magnification, m = -\frac{v}{u} = -\frac{-60}{-30} = -2

Size of image, h_{1} = m(h_{o} ) = -2(5) = -10
