Answer:

(converting into si unit)

36*5/18= 10 m/s

108*5/18= 30 m/s

u= 10 m/s

v= 30 m/s

t=40 s

a=( v-u)/t

(30-10)/40

= 20/40= 1/2

therefore acceleration is equal to 1/2 m/s^2
