New acceleration = 3 m/

Given ,

  • Acceleration of the object = 2 m/s²
  • Net force is tripled
  • Mass is doubled

We need to find ,

  • New acceleration = ?

Using Newton's second law of motion

F = m × a

Substituting , F = 3F , m = 2m . Since , by the given information . Let the new acceleration be a

⇒ 3F = 2m × a

⇒ 3F/2m = a

So , acceleration will change by that factor

⇒ ( 3/2 ) × 2

3m/

So , the new acceleration will be 3m/

Answer:

Given :-

  • Acceleration = 2 m/s
  • Force is tripled
  • Mass is double

To Find :-

New Acceleration

Knowledge Required :-

F/M = A

_________________________

F is the Force

M is the Mass

A is the Acceleration

_________________________

Solution :-

As we are knowing that the force is tripled then new force will be 3F and New Mass will be 2M

According to the question,

3F/2M = a

3/2 × 2 = a

3 = a

Hence :-

New Acceleration = 3 m/s
