The answer is 19.6m/s

We know v²- u²=2as

a=g=9.8m/s², u=0

v²=2×9.8×19.8 m²/s²

so v²=384.16

v=19.8m/s

19.6 meters/second

distance(19.6 meters) = initial velocity*time + 1/2 acceleration *t^2

19.6m = .5at^2 = .5*9.8m/s/s*t^2 = 4.9m/s/s*t^2

19.6/4.9=4=t^2

t=4^.5=2

v=at v= 9.8m/s/s*2sec = 19.6m/s
