Solution :-

  • We know that, Work done (W) = F.s i.e dot product of force and displacement

       W = F.s = Fs cosθ

  • Here, the body has displaced in the direction of applied force. So, θ = 0°

    ⇒ W = 125 × 20 × cos0°

    ⇒ W = 2500  J                   ( ∵ cos0° = 1)

The work done is 2500 J
