Its initial velocity = 0
given ,
H = 500 m

= 1/2gt²
500 = 1/2×10×t²
5t² = 500
t² = 500 / 5
= 100
t = √100
= 10 s
the velocity on reaching the ground is given by,
v = u+at
v = gt
= 10×10
= 100 m/s
