☆Initial velocity(u)=0 (as it was at rest initially)

☆Acceleration due to gravity(g)=9.8m/s²

☆Time(t)=2s

To find:-

☆Velocity of the object after 2s(v)

Solution:-

By,using the 1st equation of motion,when u=0,we get-----

=>v=gt

=>v=9.8×2

=>v=19.6m/s

Thus,velocity of the body after is 2s is 19.6m/s and hence correct option is (a).
