An object is dropped from a height h strikes the ground with a velocity of 30m/s. Calculate h.

Hi!

u=0
v=30m/s
g=10m/s (I am taking 10, you can take 9.8 too)
h=?

Using 3rd equation of motion, that is-

2as=v^2-u^2
2*10*s= (30)^2-(0)^2
20s=900
s= 900/20
s=20m

Thus, height = 20m
