We have to find the height where the velocity will be 7 m/s.

Using the equation of motion-

v² = u² + 2as

v = 7 m/s , u = 0 , a = 9.8 m/s² , s = the distance from the top

=> 49 = 19.6 × s

=> s = 2.5 m

The height of the body at that moment = h - s = 5 m.
