Hola mate here is your answer!

Given:

u=(-40)cm

f=(-60) cm

To find:

v=?

Solution:

Using mirror formula

 \frac{1}{f}  +  \frac{1}{u}  =  \frac{1}{v}

 \frac{1}{ - 60}  -  \frac{1}{40}  =  \frac{1}{v}

 \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{1}{ - 24}

v =  - 24cm

Hope it helps!
