An object is in linear motion. If its mass reduced by 50% and its velocity increased by 4 times of its original velocity. Then which of the following is the correct relation between the original momentum P, and the final momentum P, of the object?

It depends on two variables – velocity and mass of an object. There is a relation between kinetic energy and momentum as both the properties are linked with velocity. Momentum gets expressed as a multiplication of velocity and mass, whereas kinetic energy is the product of the square of speed and half of the mass.
