An object is kept at 30cm from a concave mirror of focal length 15cm. Find the image distance and magnification produced by the mirror.

From mirror formula,

\sf{{\dfrac{1}{f}}={\dfrac{1}{v}}+{\dfrac{1}{u}}}

\sf{{\dfrac{1}{v}}={\dfrac{-2+1}{30}}}

\sf{{\dfrac{1}{v}}=-{\dfrac{1}{30}}}
