Answer:

We get n = 360/90 - 1 = 3. When we simply use n = 360/90 we get an even number 4, but we should get a odd number so we use the other formula. So we get 3 images when two plane mirrors are placed at angle of 90⁰

Answer:

If two plane mirrors are placed together on one of their edges so as to form a right angle mirror system, 3 images are formed.

n= 90/360 −1=3

Right angle mirrors will allow a maximum of two reflections of light from the object. But as the angle decreases, three, four, and even more reflections can occur.
