The radius of cirlce= r

when it completes half circle-

Distance= circumference/2=2πr/2

distance= πr

Displacement= r+r=2r

when it completes 3/4th of cirlce...-

when it completes 3/4th of cirlce...-distance covered= 3/4(circumference)

3/4(2πr)

3/2πr

the displacement of AB using Pythagoras theorem

AB^2= r^2+r^2

AB^2= 2r^2

AB=2r

Displacement=2r

distance=3/2πr
