Answer:

displacement = 0

Distance = 22m

Explanation:

The object is moving in a circular path and it has completed one round. So, he started and ended at the same point.

Displacement = 0

Now, the distance covered is circumference of the circle

i.e 2πr

2×22/7×3.5

2×22×0.5

44×0.5

22m

I hope this helps you.

Answer :-

Displacement = 0

Distance = 22 m

Given:-

Radius of circular path = 3.5 m

To find :-

Displacement and distance in one full cycle.

Solution :-

Since, Displacement is the shortest distance between final and initial position.

After, starting from initial position the object reaches finally to its actual position .

Therefore,displacement of object will be 0.

Now,

Distance travelled by object in one full cycle = Circumference of circular path.

Circumference of circle =  2 \pi r

Circumference of circle =  2 × \dfrac {22}{7} × \dfrac{35}{10}

circumference of circle =  2 × 22 × \dfrac{5}{10}

circumference of circle = 2 × 22 ×\dfrac{1}{2}

circumference of circle = 22 m

hence,distance travelled by body in one full cycle is 22 m.
