An object is moving with a speed of 2 m/s towards mirror. With what speed will the image and object come close to each other

Hlo friend!

The object moves towards the mirror with a speed of 2 m/s. 
The image also moves towards the mirror at a SPEED of 2 m/s but it is in the opposite direction. 
So speed of the image towards the object (relative to the object )=2×2=4 m/s

The speed of the image is 2m/s. But he is approaching his own image with the speed of (2 + 2) = 4 m/s.
His own speed + the image speed = 4m/s. This is because he already is moving with the speeed of 2m/s, so it adds to the image speed.
