the initial velocity is 2 m/s and it changes by 5 m/s so average will be 2+5 divided by 2 that is 3.5 m/s

AVERAGE VELOCITY

=TOTALDISPLACEMENT/TIME

DISPLACEMENT=UT+1/2AT^2

SO

AVERAGE VELOCITY=UT+1/2AT^2/T

=U+1/2AT

=2+(1/2)(3/T)T

=2+1.5

=3.5

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
