ans (a) is u=6m/s

v=0(as it comes to rest)

a=-1 m/s²

from the 3rd equation of motion

v²-u²=2as

0²-(6)²=2×(-1)×s

s= -36/-2=18m

ans b - from the 1st equation of motion

v=u+at

0= (6m/s)+(-1 m/s²)×t

0-6=-1×t

t=-6/-1=6sec
