Given:

An object is moving with constant velocity of 10 m/s.

To find:

Representing it's motion with v-t graph.

Solution:

Since the object is moving with a constant velocity of 10 m/s, it's velocity will not change with respect to time.

Hence, the graph will be simply a straight line parallel to the time axis.

Other informations that can be understood:

  • Since the object is moving with a uniform velocity, its acceleration is 0 m/s².

  • And whenever an object's acceleration is zero (with constant Velocity), we considered the motion to be UNIFORM MOTION.

  • Displacement at any time will be simply d = ( 10 × t ) metres.
