Given :-

  • Initial velocity (u) = 25m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 50 m/s
  • Time taken = 10 seconds

To Find :-

Acceleration of the object

\sf \orange{Formula \:  used :  - }

{\boxed {\sf\longrightarrow \pink {a = \frac{v - u}{t} }}}

Where,

  • a = acceleration
  • v = final velocity
  • u = initial velocity
  • t = time taken

Substituting the values, we get

 :  \implies \sf  \frac{50m/s   - 25m/s}{10s}  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    \\  :  \implies \sf  \frac{   25m/s}{ {10}s} \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  \\  :  \implies \sf \:  \frac{ \cancel{25}m/s}{ \cancel{10s}}  = 2.5m/ {s}^{2}

  \sf \therefore \purple{Acceleration \:  of \:  the \:  object = 2.5m/s²}

The reaches a final to its acceleration 2.5ms^{-2}.

Explanation:

Acceleration a=\frac{v-u}{t}

=\frac{50ms^{-1}-25ms^{-1}}{10s}

=\frac{25ms^{-1}}{10s}

=2.5ms^{-2}.
