Given,

Time (t)=10 seconds

Accelerartion (a)=2.5 m/s

2

We know v=u+at

⇒40m/s=u+2.5×10 m/s

2

⇒40m/s=u+25 m/s

⇒u=(40−25) m/s

u=15m/s

∴ initial velocity of the car =15 m/s

Given,

Initial velocity of the object = 25 m/s

Final velocity of the object = 50 m/s

Time = 10 seconds

To find,

The acceleration of the object.

Solution,

We can simply solve this numerical problem by using the following process.

Now,

Initial velocity (u) = 25 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 50 m/s

Time (t) = 10 seconds

Acceleration (a) = ?

According to the kinematics,

a =  \frac{v - u}{t}

a =  \frac{(50 - 25)}{10}

a =  \frac{25}{10}

a = 2.5 \: m/s²

(This will be considered as the final result. And, the SI unit of acceleration is m/s²)

Hence, the acceleration will be 2.5 m/
