distance=2πr

displacement=0

Explanation:

  • displacement is the shortest distance between initial point and final point. so, when the object completes one circle, it reaches the initial point and hence the net displacement will be zero
  • distance is equal to the total path length transversed by the object, as you see , when it completes one circle, then total distance will be equal to perimeter of circle,that is 2πr
