An object is moving with velocity 36 m/s , calculate the distance travelled buy it in 1 hour.
is it really the distance travelled or the displacement , what will be the correct term for it.

129.6 km. It would be dispalcement if the motion is linear.

velocity = 36 m/s
time = 1 hour= 3600 s
displacement= v*t = 36*3600=129600m=129.6 km

the correct term is displacement.
If speed was given, then it would have been distance.
