Answer:

As in case of convex mirror formula will be

1/v +1/u =1/f

Explanation:

Putting u =-0.15

And f=0.1

We get 1/v=1/0.1 +1/0.15

1/v=10+20/3=10+6.67=16.67

v=0.06(approx.)

The image will be virtual.

position of object,u = - 0.15 m = - 15 cm

position of image,v = ?

focal length of convex mirror,f=0.1 m=10m

using mirror formula

\tt \frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{v}+\frac{1}{u}\\\\\tt \frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{f}-\frac{1}{u}

(putting values)

\tt\frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{10} - \frac{1}{-15} \\\\\tt \frac{1}{v}=\frac{3+2}{30}\\\\\tt \frac{1}{v}=\frac{1}{6}\\\\\tt hence,\\\tt \boxed {v=6\:cm=0.06\:m}

the image is formed on positive x axis.

Nature of image will be virtual and erect .

(as convex mirror always forms virtual and erect image)
