An object is placed 10cm from the convex mirror of focal length 15cm find it position and nature of the image

\huge\underline{\underline{\bf \orange{Solution-}}}

\large\underline{\underline{\sf Given:}}

  • Distance of Object (u) = -10cm
  • Focal lenght (f) = +15

\large\underline{\underline{\sf To\:Find:}}

  • Position and Nature of image.

According to Mirror's Formula

\large{\boxed{\bf \blue{\dfrac{1}{f}=\dfrac{1}{v}+\dfrac{1}{u}}}}

\implies{\sf  \dfrac{1}{15}=\dfrac{1}{v}+\left(-\dfrac{1}{10}\right)}

\implies{\sf \dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{1}{15}+\dfrac{1}{10} }

\implies{\sf \dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{10+15}{15×10}}

\implies{\sf \dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{25}{150} }

\implies{\sf v=\dfrac{150}{25}}

\implies{\bf \red{ v=6cm}}

Characteristics of Image

➝ Any position of object innan convex mirror formed always between Pole (P) and Focus (F)

Small erect and virtual
