  • The focal length = 5 cm
  • Object distance = - 10 cm (Negative because object distance is always negative)

As we observe, the object distance is double of the focal length, we can conclude that the object is placed at the position of 2F.

  • The size of the image formed will be same as of the object.

  • The size of the image is diminished.
  • The position of the image is between the focus and optical centre.
