an object is placed 15cm from(a)a converging mirror,and(b)a diverging mirror,of radius of curvature 20cm. calculate the image position and nagnification in each case

a) here, radius= 20 and therefore focal length= 20/2= 10.
object is at 15cm ,
now by using the mirror formula we get that v = 25 . v=25
hence image will form beyond the C and is enlarged . And real and inverted in nature .
magnification = -v/u =-25/15
= -1.66
