Given that,

Object distance, u = -15 cm

Focal length of the convex mirror, f = +15 cm

To find,

The location of the image and the magnification.

Solution,

The mirror's formula is given by :

\dfrac{1}{v}+\dfrac{1}{u}=\dfrac{1}{f}\\\\\dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{1}{f}-\dfrac{1}{u}\\\\\dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{1}{15}-\dfrac{1}{(-15)}\\\\v=7.5\ cm

So, the image will form at a distance of 7.5 cm in front of mirror.

Magnification,

m=\dfrac{-v}{u}\\\\m=\dfrac{-(7.5)}{(-15)}\\\\m=0.5

Hence, this is the required solution.
