Given that,

Object distance = 40 cm

Focal length = 20 cm

Distance of plane mirror from concave mirror = 10 cm

We know that,

Plane mirror :

A mirror with reflecting surface it is called plane mirror.

Concave mirror :

A concave mirror is converging mirror. it is reflect light inward to focal point.

We need to find the final position of the image

According to figure,

An object placed at 40 cm in front  of a concave mirror and a plane mirror is placed at 10 cm distance in front of concave mirror.

Then, The position of image is 30 cm from plane mirror .

The position of image from concave mirror is

v=30-10=20\ cm

The position of image from object is 60 cm.

Hence, The final position of image from concave mirror and plane mirror is 20 cm and 30 cm.
