object distance u = - 50 cm

focal length f = - 30 cm ( ∵ concave mirror)

From Mirror Formula :

\frac{1}{v} +\frac{1}{u} = \frac{1}{f}

\frac{1}{v} - \frac{1}{50} = - \frac{1}{30}

\frac{1}{v} = \frac{1}{50} - \frac{1}{30}\frac{1}{v} = - \frac{20}{1500} = - \frac{1}{75}

∴ v = - 75 m

Image is formed at a distance of 75 cm in-front of the mirror.

magnification m = - v/u = - (-75)/(-50) = - 1.5

Since m is negative : Image is real and inverted

since |m| > 1 : Image is enlarged(magnified)
