An object is placed at 10 cm from a concave mirror, its magnification is 2, what will be the distance of the image?

Answer:

magnification = -v/u here v is distance of image and u is distance of object here if magnification is +2 then 2=-v/-10. (* object distance is in negative) then v is +20cm this image form behind the mirror erect and virtual image. and if magnification is -2 then .-2= -v/-10 then v is -20 cm so this image is real and inverted image
