Answer:

the image will be formed at a distance of

22.5 cm from the mirror.

nature of image real,inverted.

Explanation

since it is given that the mirror is converging this it is a concave mirror.

  • Radius of curvature = 30 cm
  • focal length =R/2
  • = 15 CM

u = -45cm

f = -C/2 = -30/2 = -15cm

Now,

by mirror's formula

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

-1/15 = 1/v - 1/45

-1/15 + 1/45 = 1/v

by taking L.C.M. of numerators 15 and 45,

(-3 + 1)/45 = 1/v

-2/45 = 1/v

So,

v = -45/2 = -22.5cm

So image will be formed on -22.5 cm.

Nature = Real,inverted and between C and F.
