Given, object distance, u = -6 cm

focal length, f = -4 cm

according to mirror formula...

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

-1/4 = 1/v - 1/6

1/v = 1/6 - 1/4

1/v = -2/24

v = -12 cm

Negative sign shows that the image is real and inverted..It is formed at 12 cm before the mirror
