Given :

u = -24 cm , f = 8 cm       (I think 'u' is in cm)

1/f = 1/v - 1/u

1/v = 1/f + 1/u

1/v = 1/8 - 1/24

v = 24/2 = 12 cm

Nature of the image - Real, Inverted, diminished

Distance of image from lens = v = 12cm

Magnification = v/u = 12 / -24 = -0.5

u= -24 m

focal length (f) =+0.08m

1/f=1/v - 1/u

1/0.08= 1/v - (-1)/24

100/8=1/v + 1/24

100/8 - 1/24 =1/v

300-1/24=1/v

299/24 = 1/v

12.45 = 1/v

v=1/12.45

m=-v/u

m= 1/12.45/24

m=0.003346

please do let me know if this is correct!!
