An object is placed at a distance F/2 from a convex lens. The characteristics of image formed will be

(a) at 2F, virtual and erect and of the same size.
(b) at F1, real and inverted, double its size
(c) at one of the foci, virtual erect and double is its size

Answer ⤵️

Using Lens Formula , (1/f)=(1/v)−(1/u)

put f=f , u=−f/2

we get v=−f

As v is negative , the image is in the same side as of object so image is virtual because we have used a convex lens.

magnification m=(−v/u)=−2 so the image will be double of the object in the size.

Option c is correct.✔️✔️✔️
