an object is placed at a distance of 10cm from the pole of the concave mirror and its image is formed at a distance of 6cm from the pole of the mirror . what is the focal length of the mirror​

from the lens formula, 1/v +1/u = 1/f

             image distance, v = 6 cm

              object distance u = 10 cm  

                   1/6 + 1/10 = 1/f

                   (10+6)/60 = 1/f

                     16/60 = 1/f

                     1/3.705 = 1/f

                 so, f = 3.705 cm, for concave mirror, f = - 3.705 cm
