Heya!

u = -12cm
R = 6cm
R = 2f
6 = 2f
f = -3cm
v = ?

Here,
'u' represents position of the object from the mirror, 'R' represents Radius of curvature, 'f' represents focal length and 'v' represents position of the image.

Now by using mirror formula, we will find the value of 'v'

1/f = 1/u + 1/v
-1/3 = -1/12 + 1/v
1/v = 1/12 - 1/3
1/v = -1/4
v = -4cm

As the sign of the position of image is negative that suggests that image is formed in front of mirror.

Explanation:

u=-12

R=6

f=-3

1/f=1/u+1/v

1/v=-1/3+1/12

v=-4
