  \huge \mathtt{ \fbox{Solution :)}}

By sign convention ,

Object distance (u) = -15 cm

Focal length (f) = 12 cm

We know that , the formula of mirror is given by

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{ \frac{1}{v}  +  \frac{1}{u} =  \frac{1}{f}  }}

Thus ,

 \mapsto \sf \frac{1}{v}  -  \frac{1}{15}  =  \frac{1}{12}  \\  \\  \mapsto \sf \frac{1}{v} =  \frac{1}{12}   +  \frac{1}{15}  \\  \\   \mapsto \sf \frac{1}{v}  =  \frac{15 + 12}{180}  \\  \\ \mapsto \sf v =  \frac{180}{27}  \\  \\  \mapsto \sf v = 6.67 \:  \: cm

Hence , the image distance is 6.67 cm to the right of the mirror
