An object is placed at a distance of 16 cm from a mirror of focal length ‘f’ such that an erect and diminished image, 1/4th the size of object is obtained. Find the value of ‘f’.​

Using,   hohi=−uv

Or   41=−(−0.5)v

⟹ v=0.125 m

Using mirror formula,   v1+u1=f1

∴   0.1251+−0.51=f1

⟹ f=0.16 m
