An object is placed at a distance of 2 m from a convex mirror of focal length 1 m. Find the position of the image formed and the nature of the image.

by sign convention

u = -2  ,  f= -1

now applyoing formula

1/v - 1/2= -1/1

on solving v= - 2 cm

which proves that object and image formed are of same size and at same point( ie at R )
