An object is placed at a distance of 25cm from a spherical mirror and its image is formed behind the mirror at a distance of 5cm. find focal length. Is it concave or convex mirror?

25 cm + 5 cm = 30 cm

in this v is distace of image from pole and u is the distance of object from the pole

1/5+(-1/25)=1/f

5-1/25=1/f

:-6.25cm

And it is convex mirror because it has +ve value
