Let v is the image distance. It can be calculated as :

\dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{1}{f}-\dfrac{1}{u}

\dfrac{1}{v}=\dfrac{1}{15}-\dfrac{1}{(-30)}

v = 10 cm

The characteristics of the image formed by the mirror are as follows :

(1) The image is located at a distance of 10 cm from the mirror.

(2) Magnification, m=\dfrac{-v}{u}=\dfrac{-10}{-30}=0.33

(3) Image is erect.

(4) Image is virtual.
