Use lens formula.

1/v - 1/u = 1/f

So, 1/v=1/f+1/u

or,1/v=1/-15+1/-30

or,1/v=-45/450

or,v= -10 cm

Magnification=v/u=-10/-30=1/3

Here,f has to be taken negative because by sign convention, focal length of the concave lens is negative.

Object distance (u) is negative for every case( for any lens or mirror).
